Ricochet Build Log

I LOVE THE WATERJET. It makes making robots so much easier and more pleasant. It's so easy that I've pretty much increased my battlebot production rate to 1 robot per weekend. The main limiting factor is that I'm starting to run out of parts lol. Ricochet is essentially Recoil 2 with all the necessary improvements. First and foremost BIGGER MOTOR. No more weeny 200 watt outrunners. We're bumping it up to 450 watts.

Second, I added bearings in the weapon (Recoil ran with bushings which worked fine but got pretty hot). Lastly, and certainly most importantly, BIGGER BAR. By reducing the thickness of the bar on the hitting end, I was able to maintain the same weight while increasing the energy even more! (Recoil stored about 1 kilowatt of energy).
